Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 28 July 2026 · Company-approved
1. The service
QuantifyQS is quantity surveying software provided by Obedience Global Ltd, company number 17363431, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. These business-to-business terms govern access to the service at quantify.obedience.global.
During the invite-only phase, the Early Access Terms published in the canonical policy hub also apply and take precedence where they differ. By creating a workspace you confirm that you act in the course of business, not as a consumer.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping credentials secure. Organisation admins control membership and roles within their workspace.
3. Your content
Projects, Bills of Quantities, rates, variations and documents you create remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to host, process and display that content to deliver the service.
You are responsible for having the right to upload the documents you ingest.
On termination, available export tools let you retrieve supported records before account data is deleted in line with the Data Retention Schedule, subject to legal holds.
4. Professional responsibility
QuantifyQS assists quantity surveying work; it does not replace professional judgement. AI-generated suggestions are drafts that display their sources and require your review. You remain responsible for professional deliverables, valuations and contractual decisions.
5. Early access, subscriptions and billing
The invite-only phase is free unless we agree otherwise with your business. Before a paid subscription starts, the applicable order form or checkout will state the GBP fee, billing period, renewal, taxes and cancellation terms. We will not convert an account to a paid subscription without an explicit agreement or purchase step.
6. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other customers’ data, no reselling of the service, no abusive load. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other customers at risk.
7. Availability and support
We target high availability but the service is provided "as is" during the pre-1.0 period. Export tools are provided so you always hold your own records; hosted backups apply to server-side data as the platform layer rolls out.
There is no service-level agreement during early access unless a signed order form expressly provides one.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Each party’s total aggregate liability under these terms in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of the fees paid by the customer in that period and £1,000.
9. Service discontinuation
If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 90 days notice and keep export tools available throughout that period so you can take your complete records with you.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
