Getting startedPublic guide
Start a commercial record
Create the project once, set its commercial baseline and make the first controlled entry.
Before you start
Have the project name, client, contract or procurement context, currency and expected contract sum to hand. You can improve the record later, but a clear baseline makes every later movement easier to explain.
- Use a reference your practice can recognise outside QuantifyQS.
- Record the agreed baseline, not a rough working total.
- Keep client-confidential evidence inside the signed-in project workspace.
Create the project
- Open ProjectsChoose New project and enter the minimum project facts.
- Confirm the baselineSet the contract sum and project dates from the approved source.
- Name the recordUse a stable internal reference or let QuantifyQS generate one.
- Check the landing pageConfirm the new project is selected and the summary reflects the values you entered.
What happens next
Build or import the bill, then raise changes against evidence. The dashboard and audit trail should be treated as views of the same commercial record, not separate spreadsheets to reconcile.
